You may also have pondered the origins of the two hundred squats plan. If so, this page is for you.

Back in June 2008 I launched the hundred pushups website; a progressive six week strength training plan that was, and still is, a massive success. The hugely popular plan appealed to people from all over the world and is still attracting new challengers on a daily basis.

Over the months, one of the most popular requests received was to design a similar program to develop and strengthen the leg muscles. The good news; based on a tremendous amount of feedback and many hours of physical experimentation, the two hundred squats program is ready to launch.

Following a similar format to the popular hundred pushups program, I believe two hundred squats to be a great complement to, and just as effective as the original six week strength training plan.
